Pledge to vote YES on Proposition 1 for Spokane Parks

Vote YES on Proposition 1 by November 4 to protect the future of outdoor spaces in Spokane.

Cooperative Action Network

Let’s protect the future of outdoor spaces in Spokane by voting Yes on Proposition 1

This November, we have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to protect and expand our parks and green spaces through the Spokane Parks and Recreation Levy—or Proposition 1. Costing just an additional 27¢ per every $1,000 in assessed property value, the Spokane Parks and Recreation Levy would provide $12.1 million of annual funding for:
  • 3 new parks in three neighborhoods lacking green spaces
  • 3 major park renovations
  • More than double park ranger staffing
  • 50% more maintenance staff
  • 12 water management upgrades
  • 5 trail and trailhead developments or renovations
  • 1 new disc golf course, pump track and all-weather, lighted, rectangular sports field
  • Upgrades or replacements to all 54 playgrounds and 85 restrooms
  • Natural land acquisition and stewardship—and so much more.
By investing a portion of $240 million over the next 20 years in park revitalization and development projects in every neighborhood, we can expand and enhance access to the power of time in nature to every person that calls Spokane home. But it’s up to Spokane voters to decide this November—so we’re harnessing this network’s power to ensure the Parks and Recreation Levy prevails.

Take action for the future of life outdoors in Spokane by pledging to vote YES for Proposition 1 by Nov. 4.
