Vote YES for King County parks

On August 5, King County voters have the opportunity to vote YES on Proposition 1 to protect and improve more than 200 parks, trails, and natural areas across the region—from neighborhood playgrounds to iconic outdoor destinations.

This ballot measure will fund critical maintenance, upgrade restrooms and trails, improve accessibility for people of all abilities, and enhance safety with more park rangers and better lighting. Prop 1 will also support habitat restoration and protect clean water in our rivers, lakes, and streams.

By renewing this levy, King County can continue to invest in safe, welcoming outdoor spaces that support our health, environment, and quality of life—while leveraging matching funds from state, federal, and private sources to stretch every dollar further.

Pledge to vote YES on August 5 for King County parks.
