Pledge to vote YES on the 2025 Boise Clean Water and Open Space Levy

Let's protect the future of life outside in Boise - pledge to vote YES on November 4.

Cooperative Action Network

From the Foothills to the Boise River, recreation is at the heart of Boise culture.

In 2001, Boise residents passed a $10 million Foothills Levy with 59% support to conserve more than 12,000 acres in the Boise Foothills as critical open space. Boiseans again reaffirmed their commitment to open space initiatives in 2015 by supporting a second $10 million levy with 74% support.

But with the 2015 funds nearly depleted, this November’s election presents a golden opportunity to secure conservation and enhanced recreation efforts by renewing this funding a third time.

Costing an additional $9.89 per every $100,000 in assessed property value, the 2025 Boise Clean Water and Open Space Levy would raise $11 million over the next two years to exclusively support:

  • Protecting clean water and the Boise River,

  • Managing land to reduce wildfire risk, protect open space and wildlife habitat,

  • Providing and enhancing parks and pathways through the purchase of property and improvement projects throughout the city—and so much more.

By renewing this critical levy, we can keep up the progress made so far to enhance Boiseans’ access to and enjoyment of nature’s restorative power.

But it’s up to Boise to decide this November—so we’re harnessing this network’s power to ensure the 2025 Clean Water and Open Space Levy prevails.

Take action for the future of life outside in Boise by pledging to vote YES for the Clean Water and Open Space Levy on Nov. 4.
