Rated4out of5byelizinhofromLoving the VibramsI started running and jogging about a year and a half ago. Back at the start I was using a few pairs of traditional Nike running shoes. When running faster or running longer distances I was getting horrible shin splints and having to rest for one to two weeks before running again—very frustrating. Since purchasing my first pair of Vibram's, shin splints have been minimal. Muscles rarely worked with traditional running shoes around the feet and ankles are actually worked with the Vibram's as you are running as if you were barefoot. The Speed Shoes' model is great, comfortable and dry out very quickly if wet after a rain run. The traction is great for running on concrete.

Rated5out of5byshipmatefromLove the style, but wish I'd sized downI get many compliments on the style of these shoes. I bounce back and forth between size 41 and 42, but almost could have used a 40 in these. The velcro styles cinch up the heel a little, but this lace style does not, so my toes often slide out of the pockets. The shoes seem to be very well-made though.

Rated5out of5byPhire HeartfromI love FiveFingersI've worn nothing but FiveFinger shoes for over 3 years now. Wearing them has made all the difference in realigning my knees (I've had a surgery in each knee) I've recently started buying 47 rather than 46 and like the extra roominess.
Don't really have any cons.

Rated4out of5byZeBertfromBest FiveFingers So FarThis is my 6th pair of FiveFingers and my prefered one for running. I like the conventional lacing which is allowing me to really stabilize the foot in the shoe (great on hilly terrain).
You are better to avoid gravel roads because the sole is for road running and not for trails like the TrekSport and the Spyridon.

Rated4out of5bythewarder500fromTry them out you will be surprised!I was skeptical at first when these shoes first became popular I would see people with them on their feet and be like who's this weirdo with the toe shoes. Well I am happy to announce I'm now one of those weird people and am proud to say it. I absolutely love the way they feel on my feet! I don't run in them so I can't tell you how that feels but I use them as camp shoes on hikes and to help ford rivers (using them basically as a water sock/shoe) so I don't get my boots wet. I also wear them to the gym and when I go out shopping sometimes when I'm just wearing casual clothes like sweat pants. They really feel quite natural and I love them a lot I will probably buy another pair when these ones wear out. With that said I do wish they were a little cheaper I feel like they are a bit pricy but I do love the way they fit and feel on my feet. Also it does take a little time to get used to putting them on since you have to obviously line your toes up with the holes but once you've done it a few times you will find your own little way to do it and it will not be so much of a problem as it may appear to be at first glance. One last thing to note GO TO THE STORE to get your foot fitted. I would not risk trying to buy them offline unless you already know what size you need.

Rated5out of5byMKrumbeinfromLove ThemThis is my third pair of Vibram FiveFingers and my favorite of the bunch. The laces keep the shoes securely on my feet with no straps to rub raw marks into them. I can't wear these shoes to work for dress code reasons , but will wear them in just about every other casual-dress situation. I especially love the tactile feedback these shoes afford me.

Rated3out of5byJESUSGETINTHECARITSALIONfromLooks great, but already wearing outI am a large guy who is using these shoes to help with a foot injury, so I use them all the time as my main shoes in an urban area. Lot's of concrete.
I've had these shoes for about 1 month and they are already wearing out, and there is white rubber showing through a small coin sized space below the toe area. Perhaps this is not designed for urban use.
Other than that I like it a lot, and enjoy the quality and feel.
