Moloa is Hawaiian for ''lazy'' and embodies the comfort of the OluKai Moloa shoes, which easily convert from lazy day slides to sophisticated shoes capable of turning heads while out on the town.
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.
Rated5out of5byStoic ScottfromFun, funky, casual shoesGreat casual wear, also my go to slip-on to take out trash or cook at the bbq grill. A comfortable, square-toe drivers mocassin.
I tried on my normal size, 12, in a store first. My foot length is 12.5 and about a C width. Ordered a size 13 because there wasn't a size 12.5. The Euro size is shown as 46--which most of the time is a US size 12. Great fit with thinner athletic socks, pretty loose with thin dress socks or bare-footed. But then, you should hang loose every-once-and-awhile.
Lived in Hawaii and Guam when younger--lets me slip "home"...

Rated4out of5byGary weekend kayakerfromExcellent travel shoeGood looking combo shoe for casual wear with the benefit of quick on/off going through security at the airport. A bit spendy for this dual purpose slide/slip on loafer, however, one of the better offerings currently on the market.

Rated4out of5bygreen vaccinefromExcellent casual shoeI love these shoes for casual and office use. They look great with khakis or jeans, with or without socks. I have a pair of Patagonia slip ons that are well vented, so I wear those in the summer, but when the weather is a little cooler these are my go-to casual shoes. They are warm without being overly hot and when worn with some thicker socks I have had no issues wearing them in the packed snow while wandering around mountain towns.
I love that the back folds down so that they can become clog-style slip-ons, although they obviously aren't quite as secure that way. They are durable and scuff marks only add to the character of my brown pair. I feel that they fit true to size, but they are a little on the wider side of normal.
Note that they required some break in time. I have a pair of Olukai flip flops that were the same way, I hated them at first and couldn't believe I paid such an extraordinary amount of money for sandals, but kept wearing them faithfully and now I'll never wear another pair. Give these shoes a few miles/days to break in to your foot and you're bound to be impressed by the comfort they offer.

Rated3out of5byFelix22369fromGreat shoe with one significant flawI purchased this pair of OluKai's because of how much I like another pair I own of the same brand. I like these shoes just as much other than one major thing; the fit. Basically, the sizing is just weird. Fortunately I purchased these in-store and was able to try on several different sizes. I normally wear an 11 in just about everything, so that's where I started with these. However, the 11 was WAY too big.. I ended up trying on a 10.5, 10, and 9.5. I finally ended up going with the 10, but seriously debated getting the 9.5. I'm still not sure if the 10 is the correct size.
Length-wise a 10 seems correct as I have a little wiggle room at the end and can wear the shoes with or without socks, but the width is so wide I sometimes feel like my feet are swimming in these shoes. I didn't go with the 9.5 though because my toes essentially were touching the end of the shoe and I would have had no room for socks. I also have minor bunions on my left foot and the 9.5 seemed like it was putting too much pressure on those, which would have been painful.
In general though, I do like the shoes. They look good with shorts or pants and with or without socks (no socks in shorts of course). I've just accepted that I will have to get used to them feeling more like sandals on my feet with how much they move around. I get that OluKai is all about a more natural fit and more room for your toes, but it's a little too much with these..

Rated5out of5byreubenfromGreat shoes for a casual work environmenI bought these a a work shoe. They are the shoes I wear more than any other (work shoes that is) and the olukai shoes and sandals are amazing. These shoes are great and I get compliments all the time. They are definitely more casual but are extremely comfortable and durable. Goes well with khakis and jeans. Wouldn't recommend if you wear a suit all day every day, but then again you probably wouldn't be shopping at REI for work shoes...

Rated4out of5byBJPM6fromVery good comfortable shoes.I love these shoes. I have had them for about a month and have worn them almost every day. They are a bit loose based on the size that I bought, but it seems appropriate for these shoes. The only negative is the sole of the shoe seems to wear out a bit faster than the Keens I used to buy. Overall, I am quite happy with them.

Great in airport security, all around situations and weather. 10 days in China with hot days, some rainy days, some touring and a lot of business. I only wore these shoes and they fit all of my needs. My feet never felt tired.
