      This is one of the most comfortable, versatile packs I've ever used. We just came back from a backpacking trip in Arches National Park, where I was carrying 5 liters of water. This pack handled the extra weight fantastically. I especially liked the adjustable shoulder straps and the ability to remove the top lid to save weight. With the optional hip belt pocket, this pack is hard to beat.

        I bought this after losing my Granite Gear Vapor Trail in a house fire. Why they don't sell these in any REI stores out east is beyond me. They are way more comfortable than any other brand offered in the store. The 58L regular is a perfect size for all my backpacking needs. I'm 6'2" 175lb. This pack improves the only problem that other GG packs have, the inside water pouch is now huge with a big zipper and can easily handle a 3L water bladder. There are way more bells and whistles than my old vapor trail, more than I need actually. Storage is absolutely no problem. I could easily carry a week's worth of food, with plenty of water, a 2 person tent and have room to spare. I usually carry at most 40 lbs, which this bag can handle just fine. I'm sure it could handle a few more pounds easily.
