Comments about Sierra Designs Flash 2 Tent:
Like some of the other reviewers I bought this tent with the intended use of shorter backpacking trips and weekend camp outs.
- It's super easy to setup.
- The layout/floor size is great and will actually fit 2 adults, not like a few other 2 person tents I tried.
- The ventilation is great. (Which could be a con for some.)
- Once it's staked out, the tent is very stable in any winds I'd like to camp in.
One Con on intial setup was the Ball Cap connectors at the ends of the ridge pole. They can be a real pain as there isn't enough slack in the fly to connect them. But it seems to have gotten a bit easier after a few setups.
Bottom line is that it's a great tent for my intended purpose and I highly recommend it.

Comments about Sierra Designs Flash 2 Tent:
I bought this tent to use on shorter backpack trips under 10 miles each way. The design is very good but I would not use at the beach where it can get very cold and or misty because it could be cold and damp. Otherwise it will be excellent roomy, fairly light tent. I really like being able to sit up and actually move around without having my head and face pushed into the mesh like in a seed house 1 that I own as well. Set up looks easy but it takes a lot of effort to get the main pole attached to he roof ends and I am pretty strong.
