A little info for anyone considering this tent, I looked around online and couldn't find much about it.

Design: The inner tent is very similar in design to the TNF mountain 25. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if that tent (and it's brethren from other manufacturers), was the starting point in Coleman's design. As such, the tent is compact in footprint, yet spacious in interior volume with a barrel shape that makes the tent feel larger than it's dimensions. I'm 6'4" and have ample head and toe room with a sleeping bag -- no compressing against the walls. Sitting up I've got a couple of inches to spare above my head. This is a 2 person tent that you could actually stand to share with another person.

Listed weight is very ambitious. I found the fly/tent/poles to weigh in at the suggested 'packed weight' and with bags/guy-lines/and a lot of heavy aluminum pegs the weight is ~8.5lbs. Which is still a couple of pounds less than the TNF version with it's extra vestibule pole and heavier fly.

Construction quality is as you would expect for a tent which originally retailed ~$500. Excellent and equivalent to the top-name manufacturers.

This tent is a true 4 season tent, with large full-mesh doors on either end (with zip-closed fabric backs) and mesh-backed roof vents to keep the bugs out while keeping cool. it will be warmer in the summer than a mesh-canopy tent, but you can probably use a lighter bag because of it.

It's obviously been designed to last, and you pay the price with the weight, but for someone looking for a sturdy tent that can take you from July to January, this tent is a well priced option to the other mountain tents on the market.
