      alittle too narrow and the wood made it slick for yoga poses. the bungee attachments I used. the attractive artwork was cool; did not like the foot padding and on a hot day black is not your friend

      after demo'ing a half dozen or so quality boards over almost 2 seaons I knew the Raven is for me. This is the small person's version new this yr. (5'3" 120 lbs, avid and frequent kayaker who also likes to swim.)
      Love the Raven! Easy rider, stable but responsive, super tracking yet turns easily = big fun. Light to carry and rack. Really easy to climb back on. The diamond deck pattern holds up well and is soft to bare feet. Tiedowns are great for hooking on a drybag w. snacks, lunch, a hydration pack or extra layers.
      A real full body workout esp for the legs and core: Lost one inch off my waist already :)
      Can do just about any kayak stroke w. my board. I use a small anchor to find the cleanest swimming water further off the crowded beaches, then climb on and off as I please.

      Put some rail tape on the sides to protect the board & make for a better grip to carry.

        There are not many options for a board under 12'6" with a fast flatwater hull. This is it and is stable enough for a beginner paddler too. May not be adequate volume for the bigget paddlers, but this is an easy board to load on and off the car and can fit into a reasonable space in the garage. It tracks well and is pretty fast.
