I bought these pants for field work and camping and they have not disappointed me yet.

Comments about White Sierra Sierra Point Convertible Pants - Men's - Special Buy:
I normally wouldn't write a review just about fit, but the fit on these was so bad, and bad in an abnormal way, that I thought I'd share. These were the right fit in the waist (I got XL because of the other review saying to "go a size up" and they fit my waist fine - I'm normally between 36 and 38 in pants waist size), but the crotch of the pants was halfway down my thighs, and the legs were really baggy and a bit long at the ankles. I'll have to return them, no big deal. Just thought I should add my $.02. Otherwise, they seem like they would've been nice hiking pants.

Standard shipping is slower than expected. Took almost a week. 3 to 4 days is average.

Comments about White Sierra Sierra Point Convertible Pants - Men's - Special Buy:
I have a 34" waist, so when I ordered these pants I ordered a medium like the size chart suggests. When it came I could barely fit into the pants. They fit, but they were very tight, mainly around the waist and butt area. If you're a 32" lean and skinny guy, then medium is for you. If you're 34" who is not REALLY skinny/chicken legged, like me, then get a size up and go for the large. I returned by medium pants and ordered a large, but it hasn't come in yet, so I will let you know how that fits later.
The pants were very lightweight but they felt comfortable. Can't wait to try them out on the trail later.
I gave these pants a 3 star, but that's only because I didn't know what to put since I haven't tried them on the trail yet and haven't worn them for more than 5 minutes. I don't know what to rate this product at the moment, so don't take my 3 star rating for anything.
