Comments about Sea to Summit Sit-On-Top Kayak Cart:
Been paddling many kayaks over the years, and made the plunge to get a sit on kayak for fishing. This kart gives your 'Yak wheels and makes it a breeze to wheel it down to the beach. It is well made and a great backsaver! I can fully load my fishing kayak after unloading in a parking lot and then wheel it complete to the shoreline. Wheels have enough flotation to keep my 65+ lb kayak rolling on softer sand, and are rugged/large enough to handle going over rocks and 6" to 8" drops and rises. The kart system is easy to size and mate to my boat through rear scupper holes. You probably wont need the straps....I haven't used mine. Just pop it in place and get rollin'

Comments about Sea to Summit Sit-On-Top Kayak Cart:
I have been strapping on awkward wheels to my Kayak for the past 18 years. I even wore out one set of tires. I was looking for something simple, secure, fast to load and unload, and that rolled straight and could handle bumps and sand. This cart does all of those thing. And I can't believe the quality for the price!
The cart easily adjusts to the proper width to fit thru my scuppers. It comes with a strap, but for my use I don't need it.
The only thing it lacks, for my purposes, is a hoop to run a lock thru. I usually lock my wheels to the bike stalls at the beach. I now just disassemble the rack and stow it in the bow hatch of my boat.
Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Comments about Sea to Summit Sit-On-Top Kayak Cart:
Correction! The axle clamp I previously criticized can be tightened, like a bicycle clamp. Failed to see that. Now have no complaints. Highly recommend. Suggest manufacturer include a brief set of instructions for dummies like me.

Comments about Sea to Summit Sit-On-Top Kayak Cart:
Used it four times and love it. Adjusts easily to scupper hole distances, slides in holes easily and fit is snug. Strap is unnecessary because of snug fit of rubber to kayak holes but strap doubles nicely to secure kayak in truck. Kayak rolls comfortably.
Would have given five stars but axle clamp that secures hole measurement is weak and two axle pieces slip off preset distance. Not a huge problem.
I love it and would buy it again.

Comments about Sea to Summit Sit-On-Top Kayak Cart:
I used this cart twice now and I'm very pleased. After inserting it into two rear scupper holes, the kayak (12') sits very snugly when rolling it. I found the strap was not needed and served better to strap the kayak to my truck when moving. The cart inserts and releases easily from the kayak. Would have given it 5 stars but the clamp in the anxle that is intended to lock in your hole width measurement does not secure and the anxle slips from the setting. That said, I love it, and would buy it again.
Service and delivery comments:
REI was great to work with. They were able to get my order changed from a 10' to a 12' a week or so after ordering. Sales people were courteous, knowledgeable, and patient. Kayak arrived uncsratched.
