I backordered this item and recieved it today. If I can edit this when I test it out in Yosemite later, I will. I bought this bag because it was much less expensive compared to other down bags and had almost all of the features I was looking for. It packs down very small (a little bigger than a football) and is a pound lighter than my last synthetic bag. The materials are awesome and very comfortable. The down really poofs up and delivers some nice warmth. I use a Hennessy Hammock for backpacking and am really glad that this bag comes with padlocks so I can stay on top of the insulation pad.The only things I would change about this bag is give it a compartment to stuff clothes in to make a pillow, add a second zipper on the right side of the hood so you can sit up and have a little more freedom when needed, and add a padlock near the bottom of the bag so it will stay on a little better.

I used this sleeping bag for a cross country cycling trip from Alaska to Minnesota.

The good: This sleeping bag packs extremely small. It took up a very small amount of room in my cycling bags. It kept me warm every night - I never woke up cold (only warm).

The bad: When the sleeping bag got slightly wet it took forever to dry and the fill seemed to clump up - but I might've been at fault for that.

The ugly: Using it everyday for 6-7 weeks it developed some holes. They were easily fixable, but very unexpected.

When it advertizes "full length zipper", don't you believe it. My new Ridge Runner +15 "long" arrived on Adak Island last night. The "full length" zipper I had ordered seems about 2 foot short of that claim.

This bag was ordered for use from Chile's Atacama desert (hot in summer) where the Dakar Rally will soon pass, to Tierra del Fuego (cold anytime) and needed the full length zipper for that range of temps.

I love this bag! Used it for the first time over Labor Day weekend in Wrangell St Elias National Park in Alaska. Temps dropped down to the low-mid 30's at night and I stayed toasty warm!
