Comments about C4 Waterman ISUP Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard:
Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase.[...] But, after a couple of times out, I feel like the wait was worth it. Very good product. Very solid feel for an inflatable. Feels much more substantial than its 24 lbs.Cons: Takes some work and patience to get the board to maximum air pressure. I have been squeezing a little more air in each time, not wanting to put in too much. I have yet to get the board as stiff as I would like, but do feel like the supplied pump has the capacity for more pressure. The pump and supplied gauge seem to be a bit on the cheap side. The gauge no longer sits at zero, but "appears" to track accurately after 5psi. The pump must be lubricated with each use, after a few uses the rubber seal on the plunger started slipping out when the psi got around 10. Reapplying the lubricant to the seals solved the problem. Another annoying detail was that the pump provided was not the pump on website images, but a gray Italian make. May be just as good as the yellow one, but the gauge only goes up to 14 psi. C4 site recommends pumping to 15 or 17. Obvious problem. I do get the idea that the user will not be able to overfill the board with the supplied pump. That is the theory I am going with as I continue to up the pressure. Planning to bury the gauge needle to a "estimated" 17 psi next time out.I weigh 220 lbs. and was pushing the limits of the board's stiffness at 14 - 15 psi. No way to keep my feet dry and the flex of the board combined with it's designed rocker left me feeling like I was loosing some tracking potential. Very easy to turn, but I would like to keep more of the board's length in the water. (Strictly lake paddling so far)Pros: Despite the above, we are very happy with the board. My wife, a serious kayaker, took off her first time on the board and didn't turn around until she was halfway across the lake. The board also worked very well for our 9 year old. He was able to balance, paddle and turn on his first try. Board is perfect for kids. He and a friend were able to both ride on the board at the same time, jump off and climb back on. They had a blast. Our 2 year old even took an "aided" turn. He gives the "boat" a big thumbs up.In summary, very good board for an inflatable. I went in expecting some of the technology's limitations and came away happy with the overall experience. Can't wait to take the board along on our next vacation and get it in the ocean.Hoping to get the board on a river soon and will review that experience as well.

Comments about C4 Waterman ISUP Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard:
My family had the chance to demo this board as well and many others last week. Hands down, we all picked the C4 iSUP. It can be pumped to 15 psi! When on it you would never believe it is an inflatable. Felt as rigid as the hard boards, yet it took bumps in the water like the suspension on my mountain bike. It tracked awesome and turned on a dime. My 7 year old, myself, and my wife all paddled it with no problems. Perfect board for the family. Best of all, it can be rolled up and put in the trunk. No rack needed!
Later in the week we watched a SUP whitewater race down class II high water conditions in Vail. The iSUP took the race! Looked like a new board at the end. We saw many rigid boards in bad shape after the race. Some with massive chunks missing from rocks. I think the iSUP from C4 is the most versatile board on the market. I would not be afraid to paddle it anywhere!
Plus C4 is an awesome company. They will more than take care of you!

Comments about C4 Waterman ISUP Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard:
This board is the ultimate in versatility and portability. Its great on lakes, rivers, bay and lagoons. Amazingly, you can also get it into waves. But waves are where it shows a few weaknesses. Because this board is inflatable, it takes more to get it up to planing speed and therefore a little harder to catch waves. Once on the wave, you have to keep your lead foot on the gas (front of the board) to keep it moving down the line. But, how may SUP boards can you load on your bike rack or back pack and peddle to the closest open water. Four stars, down one for its mediocre surfability, but four for all the other positives noted above.

Comments about C4 Waterman ISUP Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard:
REI takes very good care of it's customers and C4 is no different.
I had a question for the C4 folks regarding the product, and I couldn't be happier with how I was taken care of. They obviously make customer service a priority.
Besides being a great company to work with, the inflatable boards are a very impressive product. The board really should be inflated to at least 15 lbs. Once there, the board gets amazingly stiff and feels very substantial considering it's light weight. I squeezed a couple more lbs in there, and the board supported my 220 lbs really well.
The downside, compared to a rigid board, is speed and tracking. But the iSUP does an adequate job in those areas considering the traveling freedom that they provide. Absolutely no regrets in purchasing this board. KIDS LOVE IT!!!!!!

Comments about C4 Waterman ISUP Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard:
The inflatable ISUP was an excellent purchase. I bought it with the intent to use as a travel board for surf and my go-to board for local rivers and whitewater. The board is just stable enough to be fun for a beginner but handles well and maneuvers well enough to leave immense room to expand skills and push the limits of this sport. IT seems fully capable to perform anything you can throw at it. Valve seems extremely solid and inflates rapidly (2 minutes). Deflates quickly as well and stores in a surprisingly small little package. Excellent excellent boat and so much fun.

Comments about C4 Waterman ISUP Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard:
This is great for what it is- a portable all-around SUP. It is surprisingly stiff when inflated properly (I weigh 210 lbs) and it's a good size/shape for flat-water cruising. I regularly surf it on small waves too, and it's a lot of fun. But if you have aspirations of high-performance surfing in larger waves, this is not the board. Both the board and the rubber fins flex too much at higher speeds. It is also not very usable in choppy water or wind, due to it being soft and light.
The board comes with insufficient instructions, but there is a good video that C4 has posted on YouTube, that explains how to inflate and deflate.
If you need the portability, this is a great purchase.
