Comments about Granite Gear Nimbus Latitude Pack - 62 Liters - '09 Overstock:
I used the Ki women's version of this pack on the last two extended trips I took to Asia. This pack is amazing. I have orthopedic issues and this pack is the most comfortable thing I've ever carried. It made it possible to carry a heavy load without consequence to my back or hips. It is easy to load and unload quickly. I think the stretchy panel in the front is brilliant. This is really one of the most efficiently designed packs I've ever seen for on-the-road backpack traveling. I recommend it to anyone, even people with back/hip issues that might not otherwise be able to carry a full load. I've put thousands of miles on mine!

Comments about Granite Gear Nimbus Latitude Pack - 62 Liters - '09 Overstock:
I have had this pack for five years and I love it. The stretchy front panel that zips up or down to completely open up the inside of the pack is the most convenient pack access design ever. Also I am rough on gear demanding the most of them and this pack has shown no worse for the wear. The materials are bomber and built to last a lifetime. I can not stress how much I love this pack. If you are planning trips up to 5 days this pack can swallow it. Over five days and this pack gets to be too small to carry all the food. Last trip was the entire length of Death Hallow and it was a dream performer. My hiking buddy is getting one because he was so impressed. I also use this pack for travel and it has always passed as a carry on. Get this pack!

Comments about Granite Gear Nimbus Latitude Pack - 62 Liters - '09 Overstock:
I used this for a six day backpack trip in Yellowstone. Previously, I packed 75# and my knees suffered. I purchased this lightweight pack and cut back on the redundant items I carry (to 38#). I was able to fit a clothing, tent, sleeping bag, water, fishing gear, cook gear and parka plus six days of food in the 3800 in. I strapped a fishing rod, water bottle, tent poles, closed cell foam sleeping pad and Tevas on the outside.
I really like the maternity fabric and the zipper closure that allows expansion of the backpack and access to the top, bottom or sides easily.
This pack is extremely well made and I intend to make it my lightweight pack of choice.

Comments about Granite Gear Nimbus Latitude Pack - 62 Liters - '09 Overstock:
This pack is a really great fit for me. I'm 5'8" and just wasn't comfortable with my North Face Terra 60. This pack fits me great, is light, has plenty of room, appears to be well constructed. The only complaint I have is I'm not a big fan of the panel loading design. I would rather just have a top loader however, this was on-sale deal of the day and I couldn't pass it up. I just zip the panel from the top down and load it like a top loader...problem solved. The frame is adjustable by moving two screw pins up or down for a custom fit. I haven't field tested yet but have loaded it up and walked around a bit and so far so good!
