This was my first backpack purchase and I wish I had opted for a lighter, more comfortable backpack.
Used it for a 2 month section hike on the A.T.
It seems very durable and held up with 40-45 lbs fully loaded.
Main cons were the side pockets and the shoulder straps. It was hard to reach waterbottles from the pockets. The shoulder straps were uncomfortable after about 8 miles/4 hours of hiking. Of course, this could have been due to a 40+ lbs load or not fitting the backpack right to myself.

I bought this for my first weekend backpacking trip. I almost didn't go on the trip because I strained my back, but when I found this at the REI store, the padding was so comfortable on my back, and I decided to go.

It is also the perfect weekend getaway backpack for me. It fits perfectly in the overhead bins on planes, and can squish a lot in it.

I would recommend depending on your use. For me, it's perfect, but if you are not a minimal packer and are using it for more than a weekend, I would invest in a larger pack.

Used the pack for 3 months. Straps were pretty uncomfortable on long hikes when the pack was fully loaded(40+ lbs). Also had the stitching on the daisy chain rip. Water bottle really hard to reach in side pocket. Very adjustable, but a bit uncomfortable.

This pack if not fitted as well as others but is ajustable. The straps are very uncomfortable, not shaped well for a womans body and do a lot of digging even if your pack is not full. The pack has a large amount of room and the external compartments are easy to get to aside from the water pouches which are angled the wrong way to reach your water while backpacking. The frame of this pack is ajustable which makes it nice to fit taller and shorter women.
