  • Women-specific shoulder straps, hipbelt and backpanel are all proportioned to fit a woman's narrower shoulders and shorter torso
  • Top-loading pack with three convenient pockets in the removable lid: a zippered top pocket, an internal mesh pocket and a pocket under lid
  • Padded Split-Wrap™ hipbelt helps stabilize the load during rides and aids in transferring weight to the hips as you walk
  • Stretch adjuster shoulder strap lets you adjust the torso length with a VELCRO® brand closure strap that runs down the framesheet
  • Lightweight frame system with HDPE framesheet and two aluminum stays provide an optimal blend of stiffness and torsional flex to support big loads
  • Hydration reservoir pocket lets you haul enough water to stay hydrated during intense activity and on warm days (reservoir sold separately)
  • Dual ice axe loops with lash straps allow easy access to tools and equipment
  • Four side-compression straps stabilize the load and double as a ski carrying system for winter outings
  • System lets you carry skis diagonally across the back of the pack
  • A stash tunnel behind front pocket and between main compartment is for storage of ice axe, shovel, wands and more when pack and pockets are full
  • Sleeping bag compartment features a separate zippered entry at bottom so you don't have to dig through pack

I've used this pack for several backpacking trips. It is large and has several pockets and good compression straps. However, It is very uncomfortable. If you don't load it perfectly, it is even more uncomfortable.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
