Comments about Kelty Coyote 4750 Pack:
This pack is great. My first time out with it was a 25 mile hike on the AT. It was very wet, but i got myself a [$] REI duck cover and that kept it dry! I had over 50lbs of stuff in it, and not only did the pack fit all of it, but i did the whole trip, and did not have any back pain at all! (Ventilation was great too, no sweat!) Also, i fell using the pack as a cushion for my self about 3 times (wet rocks stink) and it held firm. The only thing that it did not fully accommodate for was that my 3 liter plattpus bladder did not fit in the designated bladder pocket, but i stuck it along side my sleepingbag, and it all worked out great! GREAT BUY FOR A BEGINNER OR A PROFESSIONAL GUIDE!!!!!!

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4750 Pack:
This pack is not my first, but I don't plan on replacing it anytime soon.
The pack is a bit heavy, but that is due to the material it is made from. The flip side is it can easily be repaired in the field with a simple needle and thread.
Another great feature of it is the middle opens up for convenient access to the center contents. This is great, since you can pack heavier items lower and still get to them without dismantling your entire load.

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4750 Pack:
This pack is HUGE. I took it to Europe last summer and it fit everything and then some for a 10 day trip. Looking forward to taking it on some camping trips this summer.
It feels a little more rugged but also a little heavier than some of the other packs I have seen/used

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4750 Pack:
I love it. It was my first backpack after beginning to get into the sport. It fits all the gear the a beginner will take and then, once you start to learn to not pack as much and pack light, it still works great (although, at this point, is a big heavy for just weekend trips). For a longer trip, say, a week, it would be perfect as it can carry a TON of stuff.

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4750 Pack:
I took this pack with me on an 11 day trek, and it held up to 15 meals for 2 at a time and held up great. This is a great pack for long trips, it loads extremely well with the mid section that opens right up. The only downside is that it is slightly heavy, but as I said, that is the ONLY downside. Overall, it is a great overall pack with lots of comfortable padding.

I have taken the Coyote on many of 2 and 3 day trips. That's food, kitchen and extra clothing. I make the Doberman carry the wood and beer.
