    I used Turtle Fur a few months ago when i was climbing Mt. Shasta. it was the middle of January and snow covers everything. infact its so cold once you get above the timber line you dont have to worry about the snow melting on you and getting you wet, however. the head is a different storry, my head was soaked to the bone, cause i had fallen and had snow get inside my hood. Even Soaking Wet the Turtle Fur Hat will keep you warm. this is a great product and i would not go anywhere without it.
