It was reccomended to me by a friend and now I can't stop telling everyone about this amazing product. It's a must have!!!
I used it while Trikking 55 miles in 90- 106 degrees weather and it stayed cool all that time. It was amazing to feel something cold on your neck while you feel your body is melting everywhere else.
I will never leave the house without my cool tie.
And it looks cool too :)

This is so amazing I am recommending it to all my hiking friends. Very cooling, even in 80+ degree heat. It comes in several colors also, so I plan to get them for other family members.
On very long hikes in hot weather, it is possible to rehydrate on the trail, also. Just sprinkle a bit more water on it, then shake. The crystals swell back up and it is instantly cool again.

I bought this last summer when my boyfriend and I hiked down and up the Grand Canyon. I must say that if it wasn't for this little guy, I would have probably had a heat stroke! This kept me cool and felt so good against my skin during the warm summer heat.
I was my first time using it and I over-soaked it by accident and it was REALLY big and bulky, but I have since learned how to soak it just right. It feels great, and it has lasted my all year! I love this tie!

This product worked as advertised. I was really surprised how cold the wrap got. It remained cold and wet for 24+ hours. The only con is it that it takes 30 - 45 minutes to absorb water and begin working. Not a big deal but you will need to plan ahead to use it.

Use it when having outdoor activity under the sun (in semi desert area), such as gardening, golf, hiking, etc. Like the product idea to wear around neck to help evaporate body heat, but it is too tight for my neck. Need to have it longer for large size people Also color is too dark and it absorb heat (sunlight), and prefer to have lighter color to reflect sunlight (heat), such as beige, light green, light blue etc. Like the 100% cotton that the bandana is being made of, and it feels very comfortable to my neck. If it is a big longer, which because of the beads when saturated with water, took up space and the whole thing becomes bulky. Turning it around my neck is not very comfortable due to the short length. It can also be used as a head band.

Have used the Kool-tie on several extended trips through sultry southeast Asia. It does help cut the heat. While on a Thai field trip I loaned my Kool-tie to a WHO colleague sweltering in a long sleeve shirt. He immediately asked where he could find one upon return to Geneva.

I just bought three more of these as gifts. The instructions say to soak 30-34 minutes, but after 15 minutes it gets pretty saturated. I've been using it all day and it has worked great keeping me cool. I live in the desert and plan on wearing it everyday to stay cool. You can use it anywhere. Can't wait to go hiking!
