Overall great Chair, we had it for years and still love it. The Chairs are so comfortable and relaxing, you don't want to get up. However you do and thats when my dad pushed on the armrest and broke the chair, it bend were the folding mechanism is. We were able to still use it, but the other day it finally gave up

I'd give this a five if I hadn't gone through two arm rests/shoulder straps. I bought my first one about 5 years ago and within a week or two of use, the webbing on one of the straps split at the seam. The good folks at REI replaced the whole chair for me, saving me the hassel of dealing direct with the manufacturer. Haven't had any problems since. I liked it so much I bought a second one two years later. The sun shades are a pretty cool add-on, too.

We use them mostly on campouts and by the pool. If it gets wet, make sure to dry it completely before packing up (or pull it out to dry the minute you get home), otherwise you get some rusty grommets.

My old beach chair gave up the ghost this summer. Armed with a gift card from Father's Day ... I found and purchased this chair. Weight could be better, the back pack straps work well (but I'd prefer a bag with shoulder strap)and it packs up fairly small. The mesh sling seat drys fast and reduces the chance for mildew when stored. Comfortable and stable on sand or grass. I weigh in at just over 200 lbs and have no problem with it so far. Good investment ... even though it was a gift.

We use this chair all summer long down at the river, at outdoor concerts, around the campfire. On hot days you can put it in the water and cool off. Only con is my 230lb husband pushed down on the arm rest to get out of his (after using it for years) and the metal armrest snapped. We immediately replaced it with a new set of 4 for the entire family. It's super comfortable for him all the way through our smallest who weighs in at only 50lbs. Easy to carry for all sizes with the built in backpack!

I bought two of these chairs when they went on sale [...]. The quality seems very durable and it supports big heavy guys like myself. If you lean over too much to reach for something next to you it's possible that you will tip over. The chair is light and compact and setups and packs away very nicely. My only con to this chair is that during 4th of July celebrations two buckles that convert the chair armrests into backpack straps somehow came off while we were sitting and were lost forever in the crowd. I think the ends of the straps could be a bit beefier to prevent the buckles from sliding off.
