The Lowe Alpine TFX Horizon ND pack is a high-quality, versatile trekking pack sized for women.
- TFX 5® Torso Fit Expedition system adjustable back ensures perfect comfort and commanding load control over difficult terrain
- Curved, foam-padded shoulder harness, sternum strap and load-lifter straps combine with a padded, conical hipbelt to distribute weight evenly
- Top-loading design features a zippered divider that creates upper and lower compartments
- Bottom opening offers easy access to sleeping bag or gear at bottom of the pack
- Internal pocket holds a hydration reservoir, and sip tube exit port allows hands-free drinking on the trail (reservoir not included)
- Two top-loading baffled pockets provide additional storage space; four side compression straps keep cargo compact and secure
- Features two mesh water bottle pockets and a lash and loop system to secure ice axe or trekking poles

This pack has gone on around thirty backpacking trips with me, not to mention a lot of training day hikes. It has held up through two, full length John Muir Trails. The zippers, seams, straps, and buckles are all working well to this day. This last trip I realize I did not 65-liter + pack. Not to mention, it is on the heavy side.
After a while the right shoulder strap had gotten inverted, twisted and dug painfully into my shoulder. This was due to my body type, skinny and tall, small shoulder width. All in all, from the beginning, the pack didn't fit me perfectly.
In summary, this pack would be perfect for a larger backpacker. It is high adjustable and good for week-long trips.
