          I am 6'5" and 240 lbs with a relatively athletic build. I chose this after over 2 hours trying on jackets (patagonia/northface/etc) that just didnt quite fit. This jacket just fits a lot better for a bigger guy like me. The length in the sleeves and longer torso length in the xl rather than just a bigger waist circumference plus how stylish I thought it looked are what sold me. I havnt used it in any harsh conditions yet and dont really plan to. This makes a great casual wear jacket for slightly chilly days. It breathes great and has a lot of nice pockets. Very happy with the build quality as well. Id say this is a slight step below a normal softshell jacket in wind/water protection but for me, ill take the better fit, lighter weight and increased breathability for my purposes.
