      This is my first review ever. I thought it was an injustice to see this knife rated a 3. I collected knives as a kid. I bought this knife about 10 years ago because it was so inexpensive and I needed to replace my bottle opener on my key chain. This is the only thing on my key chain. I am a guy who doesn't wear jewelry of any kind. This knife comes in very handy at the holidays when it comes to opening gifts or getting my kids toys removed from the cardboard. I use this knife at work as an engineer frequently. I am constantly cutting things. The design allows you to pierce as well as slice. The strength and stiffness are remarkable. I have never sharpened this knife. It still cuts to my amazement. When we camp, I am the go to guy for the bottle opener. I bought my brother in law the same knife just months after my purchase. I saw it on his key chain at Christmas. I am writing this message wondering why I didn't buy this knife for someone else this holiday.

          Comments about Buck Metro Knife:

          I have had this little knife for about 5 years and it is still in great shape, however I don't use it very often. The blade is very sharp! Though easy to hold, the bottle opener is difficult to use because the metal is pretty thick. I end up prying bottle tops off a little at a time. I do keep it in with my fishing supplies because it is so small and the blade is sharp … works in a pinch.

          Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
