Read More I bought this knife almost a year ago, brought it with me to Mt. Rainer and small camping trips. I really like the knife for what it is. A light weight pocket knife with medium to light use for cutting. The blade is a little dull for my taste, the front guard is a little smaller than I anticipated, but it's very light. I some times forget that I have it with me. The only problem that I encounter with this knife is that over time the blade slowly started to get lose, I fixed that with taking it apart and put everything back together. -

Read More This is my first knife so I haven't had much experience with it out camping. I've used it for day to day tasks and it's been great. I am not a big fan of how it closes, I like things that click or have a button and this just has the lever you press and close. Sharpness was good, but as I said I am not experienced with pocket knives. Overall it's a great simple day to day knife! Perfect pocket/purse size. -

Read More I always carry a knife when running trail. On a recent trip to Alaska I was forced to leave my CRKT at home since I couldn't take it on my carry-on. So I ordered this on REI and had it shipped to the ANC store. It was smaller than i had expected but met my needs overall. I wear a running hydration pack and this knife fit well into the front sheet pocket. It did not bounce given its light weight. I used it around the camp in Denali and performed basic camp functions with it prior to race day. I now carry it in my laptop bag daily as a nice low bulk alternative to a swiss army style knife. -

Read More Disappointed and not impressed. Although it's a nice size for dropping in your pocket, it's a little weighty. Sort of like carrying a dollar in coins. The clip is a nice feature but the screws tend to snag on clothing. It takes two hands to open. Difficult for someone with average size fingers and darn near impossible to open with one hand. When closed the blade is protected and not capable of accidently opening. When open it has a secure lock but forget about ease of closing. Takes quite a bit of effort to close using your fingertips and nails which tend to get painful after a few times. If this was a fraction thicker, capable of being open with one hand and with a normal thumb lock, it would be perfect. I'm returning this one and getting something else. -

Read More I got this to use at work, for opening boxes and letters and such. It was so dull out of the package that it literally couldn't cut through paper. You can accidentally grab the blade through the handle, which would be a problem IF there were any chance of it cutting you, and opening the knife is more difficult than it should be. Not recommended at all. I returned mine and got a Benchmade Mini-Griptilian instead. Yeah, that's a lot more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Read More I bough this knife a year ago and have used it in many situations. I took it to Mt. Whitney, Belize and on various hiking trips. I have gotten much use out of the knife and was surprised by how much it cut through. It is tricky to close, so watch your fingers. For the price, it's as good as I expected and it has been great to have on hand.
