My 9-year old daughter is an avid runner and these shoes have served her well since last summer and are still going strong. The quality is great and I suspect that her younger brother will be wearing this same pair next season as well.

Got this shoe for my 5 year son. Got three different sizes; each shoe fits differently not true to its size. He wore it for not even 1 month and the rubber tip wore off,then the laces!!! Did not take it back because it looks like he wore it for 1 year!!! This is the second time I bought shoes in this brand; poor quality company!!! Will stay away from Hi-Tec brand period!

These shoes came appart in one day. I could not believe it. I know they are probably the cheapest shoes on REI however, ... one day :-(
They are going back ... if they take it.
