Comments about The North Face Wrencher Bike Jersey - Men's - 2012 Closeout:
I've been getting tired of the look of your typical bike jersey & was pleasantly surprised to see them in the form of a button-down shirt. The North Face Wrencher bike jersey looks great enough to use for casual wear, esp. on those warm days (thanks to the side mesh vents). My main issue with it is that it feels like a shirt that came back from the Dry Cleaners w/ extra heavy starch. I figured it would soften up after a good wash. But after a couple washes, it still felt stiff as a board. However, because of that 'stiff material', it does feel very durable (ie: it'll hold up after a gnarly mountain bike crash). Maybe I just need to keep breaking the shirt in.Honestly, I don't think I would pay [$] for this shirt again. The Dakine Triumph jersey I bought at the same time is much lighter, softer & very "airy"... almost feels like I'm not wearing a shirt at all. Unfortunately, the downside to that is that it also feels like it would easily shred to pieces if I were to crash while wearing it.
