We purchased these several months ago and this shoe is an ok shoe. We bought two pair for my daughter, one for now and one she can grow in to. Love the elastic lacing system on the small kids shoes but these shoes are heavy. They are double or maybe more than double the weight of her Nikes or Keens. She doesn't like them all that well. She wears them but will not wear them for extended periods. She just says she doesn't like them but I am sure it might have something to do with the weight of these shoes. I thought they would make a great hiking shoe for her because we love to hike but they have been a bust for that. The only consolation is I bought them at our local REI store when they were closing them out and paid [$]/pair for them. Would definitely not pay over $30 knowing what I know.
