Ordered these for warmth in cold weather, they perform well in the 20's and 30's. I also bought them for the waterproof feature although I haven't been caught in the rain with these yet. These gloves get too hot for me when the temps get in the 40's, and then in the very low 20's you might need liners.
Like the drawstrings and the tabs to pull them on. Will probably use them skiing too.
