Comments about Camp Chef Butane Single-Burner Stove:
I have now used this stove several times and I absolutely love it! It doesn't seem to use a ton of butane since we can cook several meals on one can and it boils water within 5 mins or less (medium size pot w/ lid on). If you are contemplating a single burner stove purchase, I recommend this one.
11/3/2011: I ordered this little stove because it was a reasonable price and I only wanted a single burner for car camping. I didn't read that it was butane and not propane, so I was worried that I would have a problem finding the canisters of fuel. Thankfully my local sports & rec store carries it (there is no REI in my neck of the woods).
It is super easy to light, no matches needed and I love the carrying case. I haven't used it for cooking yet, but will in a couple of weeks when we camp during Thanksgiving week!
This is also great if you live in an area prone to nasty winter weather. We don't have a lot in Texas, but when we do we can be out of utilities for days, this will be great to cook on!
