The kids' Merrell Moab Ventilator waterproof shoes are exceptionally breathable for top-notch comfort when hiking and venturing about on warm summer days.
- Suede leather and nylon mesh uppers offer ample breathability, flexibility and support for long-lasting performance; waterproof breathble membrane keeps feet dry
- Protective toe bumpers ensure durability and abrasion resistance
- Z-Rap™ wide elastic band with rip-and-stick closure provides a snug and secure fit; heel loops aid entry
- Mesh padded tongues protect insteps against lace pressure without inhibiting breathability
- Nylon mesh linings absorb and disperse excess moisture for comfort in hot conditions
- Removable, perforated footbeds add cushioning for improved comfort

These shoes have held up to over a year of everyday ROUGH wear by my now 6 year old boy. He is notoriously very hard on shoes, wearing through top name brand styles in less than a couple of months. These shoes look practically brand new, apart from showing a little wear on the soles, which is to be expected. His shoes also usually start stinking after a few weeks, and these shoes DO NOT stink! For that alone, I would highly recommend them!! The fact that they are velcro is an added bonus. He doesn't have time to stop and tie his shoes and since he is always out exploring and riding his bike, I'm glad he doesn't have to worry about them coming untied at an inopportune moment. I have already purchased more of these shoes in larger sizes for him to grow into. I cannot recommend these enough!

These are my son's favorite shoes, he's not really a hiker or anything but these are great for anything, mostly playground use. He finds them much more comfortable than anything else (his feet are somewhat wide, but not super wide) and likes the look and subtle color.
