I didn't bother to look at the size chart and just ordered a large out of habit with REI which turned out to be fine; if it were a medium it would have been more formfitting (for reference, 5"10 and average build). My main problems with it are 1. The arm holes are way too big around, and that's not for lack of a chest, and 2. the color. To be fair to REI, it is labelled "aqua/waterfall" but on my computer (2010 Mac) and another PC I've used it is a definite, rich forest green with aqua colored line across the bust. I have no idea if this is a problem with anyone else but this is the second time now that I've ordered a color and gotten something completely different. The top is quite aqua. I can only imagine what the soft lavender one would look like, as to me it appear to be a muted navy (and my eyes are not what's not working). Anyways I'm keeping it and will be taking it hiking this weekend but I can also see myself wearing it to multiple other activities.

...I was disappointed with the fit. I'm 5 feet tall and 118 lbs. My measurements are 37-29-38. I ordered the medium according to the size chart. It was too big everywhere but the bust. Very sloppy, baggy fit in the waist and hip, low-cut arm holes, kind of long. So I guess if you're tall, not curvy, and like a relaxed fit, it would be great on you. I found the quality to be very ordinary and would not have paid full price for it.
