Comments about Kuhl Uberkuhl Cap:
Like the look and fit. The only dislike is the adjustable strap hangs on you neck in back. I'll probably cut it off. Really like the it on the trail.

Comments about Kuhl Uberkuhl Cap:
The devil is always in the details and this hat is no exception. It offers an excellent fit... when worn with the bill forward. If, like me, you sometimes need to wear a hat backwards; this will not be a good fit. It seems to be fitted in order to be worn comfortably only while bill forward. My only other tweak would be to add some way to secure the strap at the back opening. It is nice, in that it affords a custom fit for head size but the strap simply falls and dangles about. This can be a bit unnerving when the small rope loop at the end of the strap flies about and bounces off your head. At first I would think a fly or some other bug was pestering me, then I figured out the culprit of my anxiety and affixed the strap with a very small zip-tie to the label tag at the opening.

Comments about Kuhl Uberkuhl Cap:
The only gripe I have is that I wore this cap about a year longer than I should have. Four years, countless miles on trail. Superior Hiking Trail, Minong (Isle Royale), thousands of pounds of coffee roasted...this is an excellent hat to live with. Stayed on my head better than any other.
My only hope is that this one reaches me before I leave for vacation..

Comments about Kuhl Uberkuhl Cap:
I was really excited about this hat. The hat looks great, material is light but appears durable. Understated, but stylish. Alas, my ginormous head was too much for this baby. If you wear a 7 3/4, this ain't gonna do the trick. The search continues......

Comments about Kuhl Uberkuhl Cap:
This is an awesome hat as described by the other 5 Star reviews. Fits really well (not like those OSFA baesball style cap) and is extremely lite weight.
As noted by chris, I love the fact your head isn't like a walking billboard. Small Kuhl logo makes it very stylish. I got the Gunmeatal color but might order the Khaki later to have two.

Comments about Kuhl Uberkuhl Cap:
The top of my head is mostly bald, the rest is kept trimmed very short. This hat fits my size 7 3/8 inch (59cm) head perfectly. The design makes it fairly form fitted without the extra bulk that is found in many baseball cap type hats. Someone with a lot of dense hair might find it restrictive, but it can be adjusted. My only complaint is, in fact, the adjustment strap. It tends to stick out and looks quite silly if you see yourself in profile. The solution is to loop the extra length under the strap. This does not create any discomfort or bulk at that point. No UV rating is mentioned on the tag, but the density of the fabric weave seems to provide more than adequate protection. I bought mine a few years ago and the fabric is listed as 67% cotton, 33 % nylon.

Comments about Kuhl Uberkuhl Cap:
This is an Awesome cap! In fact, I have two of them, one in khaki and the other in gunmetal. I've been wearing them pretty much non-stop for going on three years now and I love them. The hat is very comfortable, fits well. adjusts easily and stays put on the head. I wear it for everything, from around town to hiking and backpacking. My only complaint is that they do tend to loose color after extensive wear and hand washing but any hat will do that, right? Hands down my all time favorite cap!!

Comments about Kuhl Uberkuhl Cap:
The long search for the perfect baseball cap is over, the Kuhl Uberkuhl baseball cap meets the following criteria.
1. Fast Drying, Durable Fabric.
The fabric is a 75% cotton/25% nylon blend. The stitching is attractive, with contrasting thread.
2. No Button on Top
I've hit the top of my head so many times. Typically, there is a button on top of baseball caps. Hitting the button concentrates all the force on one small, very painful spot. No button really does make a difference, if you find yourself crawling through small spaces, or otherwise hitting your head regularly…
3. Not a Walking Banner
Just because I bought a product doesn't mean I want to be a walking banner. The Uberkuhl cap does have a logo on it, but it is very small and to the side. It's a little framed in mountain—no words. I actually like it.
4. Easily Adjustable
The adjustable strap looks durable, though the rope loop at the end of the strap tends to dangle. Another loop would be nice to keep the loose strap end tight with the strap.
5. Nice Colors
The Uberkuhl cap is available in brown, gunmetal, and khaki. I like the earthen tones. I chose khaki to reflect sunlight, though it is a little darker than I am used to.
