Agree with other reviewers. It really does smash your nose. It's also too short from the bridge of the nose to the chin, and doesn't go far enough down the neck to tuck in to a jacket.

This was a great idea for a face mask but poorly executed and its obvious some companies don't bother product testing before manufacture otherwise it would have been observed:
Mask relies on tension placed on your nose to stay on your face (this is very uncomfortable and labors breathing).
Abrasive side of velcro at the back of mask rests on skin.
Does not contour well to the anatomical shape of a human beings face.
I'm 6'0 and 175 pounds with face chiseled by the Lord himself so theres no super bloated awkward skeletal issues- maybe there should be so this mask would fit better.
I'm gonna leave the house now and head to REI and return this product.

I hadn't used this product because my thin balaclava usually does the trick. But on a bone chilling alpine climb I found out how uncomfortable and difficult it was to breath using this mask was. The nose is not given any extra fabric so you nose is smashed and the 'mesh' is a thinner facric but doesn't breath well.
Without finding something new I suffered with it on another winter climb, I am going to go make sure I throw it away right now; excuse me....

CTR logo is right on the nose, which looks very odd. I read a review, which mentioned the same problem but thought it might be defective piece, and ended up ordering. To my shock I received a piece with the same problem. Highly disappointed.
