Comments about Omega Pacific Lite Standard D Carabiner:

This is a great, sturdy snap gate for all your sturdy snap gate needs. I'm not sure why the word "lite" is in the title, cuz these babies aren't light. In fact, they're almost as hefty as the Omega twist lockers. But I happen to love them because they're obviously strong, durable, a great shape and great action.
I honestly don't use them all that often, but I'm glad to know I have 'em...sometimes I appose them and use them for anchors when I run out of lockers. I think they're too big and heavy to use for extendable draws and such, but to each is own.
