Comments about CatEye HL-EL520 Front Bike Light:
I might be spoiled by my other bike light from another manufacturer (twice the $$), but I've been pretty disappointed with this light. It's bright enough, but only in a small spot. Trying to ride with this is frustrating. The bright spot might show me a pothole ahead, but I'll have no idea what's on either side and how I should steer around it.
Also, this light doesn't have any flashing mode, which I would use for dusk safety.
Mounting was easy, batteries are doing well, and no particular defects with my unit, but all-in-all, meh.
