by fromOutstanding Boot These boots are great - very comfy and light. I start out on a hike in the morning and find myself still in them at the end of the day. They are impressively waterproof, even after walking through deep, dew-covered grass for extended periods. Plenty of room in the toe box. Only problem I've encountered is that the lace grippers at the top are a bit too tightly closed so it is hard to get the laces in them. Bottom line...fantastic boots!

by fromfantastic boots 10 of us hiked on the Coast to Coast trail in northern England through the Lake District 9 - 16 miles/day. We hiked straight up trails with water pouring down over the toes of our boots, crossed many becks (streams) on slightly submerged rocks, and we slogged through many bogs. Only 2 of us had totally dry comfortable feet for the 7 days of hiking. Both of us were wearing these patagonia boots. My friend is going to buy another pair to keep in reserve for when the first pair wear out. They are the best boots I have ever worn in my 45 years of hiking!
