Comments about Westcomb Skeena Hoodie Jacket - Men's:
I primarily use this jacket as my go-to softshell when I know things are going to be ugly outside. It fits me very well (5'10", 170lbs) and I hardly know I'm even wearing it. The soft merino wool layer that lines the arms, hood, and front of the jacket is the best lining I've ever experienced. It doesn't stink after long, sweaty days and it cleans up really well. I've used it in some high-abrasion activities (climbing, mountain biking, backpacking) with very little signs of wear after two years of use. Not the lightest softshell nor the most packable, but for it's warmth I am impressed by how light it feels on me. Wearing this jacket is why I'm excited for the cold weather to come!

Comments about Westcomb Skeena Hoodie Jacket - Men's:
One of my favorite Westcomb pieces. eVent hood, sleeves, and shoulder are waterproof, but its not seam sealed. So, its not really a rain shell, but the eVent will keep you dry enough (for quite a while) if you get caught in a rain or wet snow. Schoeller dryskin breathes incredibly, and on a windy day, you'll feel it, which is perfect if you're doing high aerobic activities, or are warm blooded. On really windy and cold days, I layer with my down jacket and that makes the system windproof. Merino wool lining rocks. Very comfortable as I'll wear this jacket in the spring and fall with short sleeve shirts and its perfect. Attention to detail in construction is amazing.

Comments about Westcomb Skeena Hoodie Jacket - Men's:
Fantastic jacket. Not for torrential downpours, but other than that you'll be hard-pressed to find an activity this jacket isn't suited for. So far this season this jacket has been on the slopes and trail in WA, CO, VT, NC and WV in all temps and conditions and has worked flawlessly.

Comments about Westcomb Skeena Hoodie Jacket - Men's:
I love this jacket based on the new eVent membrane that is suppose to contract in the heat and expand in the cold; thereby allowing the sweat out and trapping the heat in. I can't tell if it actually works but I do value the function of the membrane.
I'm currently loving it so far. I have the jacket in red but would love more 'burton'esque colours so you stand out in the crowd.

Comments about Westcomb Skeena Hoodie Jacket - Men's:
This jacket layers well. I use it most of the year; in the summer for when it cools down in the evening, in the spring/fall for those cold mornings, and in the winter when it's not raining to hard. I've been impressed with how much rain I can be outside in without getting wet in this jacket, the inner wool layer keeps you feeling dry. The jacket is rugged enough to go hiking/camping/whatever outdoor activity I've drug it along on, but it looks sharp enough to wear around town too. If you only want two jackets (a soft-shell and a hard-shell) this should be the soft-shell.

Comments about Westcomb Skeena Hoodie Jacket - Men's:
This is my go-to piece. I've never had a soft-shell that performed so well in a variety of conditions. The eVent membrane keeps me dry if it's raining. The merino wool lining is super comfortable. Scholler material gives the Skeena great stretch that allows me to be active. It is a little expensive, but well worth the price.

Comments about Westcomb Skeena Hoodie Jacket - Men's:
Being Canadian I am probably a bit biased but the construction quality of this jacket is excellent. Super light soft-shell with wool lining so it is very versatile. This has become the jacket I grab when I'm not sure what the weather is going to be like. I wish there were more colour choices, I would buy a second.

Comments about Westcomb Skeena Hoodie Jacket - Men's:
This is my go-to jacket. It looks and fits great and is one my most versatile pieces. I own quite a few Westcomb products and they are all of high quality construction and built to last.
The Skeena Hoody is water resistant, yet very breathable. A merino wool backing provides unexpected warmth in a jacket this light. This is definitely my favourite Westcomb jacket.
