      This is the best hat I have ever owned. It has been around the world with me. The only reason I replaced the old one is because I accidental shrank it, which I guess is my only complaint, but that was my own error. It's not advertised as waterproof but it might as well be. Multiple times I have worn it in Oregon downpours and my head stayed warm and dry. It's just the right amount of warmth, I can stand around in the cold or snowboard in it and it never seems too hot. The earflaps keep your ears warm without blocking too much sound. As far as a cold weather hat goes, it's everything I need.
