Only had seat for a month but it is much more comfortable than original and cooler with it's vent. So far so good

Comments about Respiro Moderate Bike Saddle - Men's:
I average 100 miles a week. This bike seat has proven to be extremely comfortable. I took a 200 mile road trip. Got away late on the first day and had to ride 140 miles. My butt never got tired or sore.

Comments about Respiro Moderate Bike Saddle - Men's:
It tilted forward, you ended up seating at the end point of the saddle. It is very uncomfortable and unnatural.

Comments about Respiro Moderate Bike Saddle - Men's:
Used this saddle to replace the factory Giant saddle on a Cypress Hybrid. While the factory was nice for short rides, it made my legs go numb past the 15 mile mark. This new saddle is great, comfortable and no numbness in my legs. Just enough padding to keep it low profile but still easy on the bottom. Also love that it's not made in China.

Comments about Respiro Moderate Bike Saddle - Men's:
It looked really comfortable on REI and has good reviews, but it tilts down too much in the front. I ended up sitting on the very tip of the seat, which was not comfortable. When I forced myself to sit back it was unnatural and didn't feel right. My bike (Trek FX 7.5) does not have an adjustment to allow me to tilt it back.
I will try to attach pictures: one of the Respiro Moderate Mens and one of my old (soft as a block of wood) Trek bike seat for tilt comparison.

Comments about Respiro Moderate Bike Saddle - Men's:
This was marketed on the website as a saddle for commuters and cruisers, but it is really the same exact size as any mountain bike saddle, so it isn't really for upright cruising, but it will do until I get a wide seat cruiser saddle to my liking.

Comments about Respiro Moderate Bike Saddle - Men's:
I ride about 1000-1500 miles a year, mostly on rail trails and paved bike paths. I'm 50yrs old and have to sit fairly upright. This saddle is by far the best saddle for me that I have ever owned with no exceptions!! My longest rides are about 50mi and last 4-5hrs, NO BUTT DISCOMFORT period.I just ordered a second one for my mtb bike so I don't have to switch it back and forth. At last I stop the everlasting search for the perfect saddle!

Comments about Respiro Moderate Bike Saddle - Men's:
I use this on my mountain bike. This saddle absorbs shocks very nicely. If I stay in the seat and go over something I should have stood for, I just bounce around on the saddle a bit with no discomfort. I spend a good amount of time in and out of the saddle, so I don't really notice much energy loss when pedaling. Sometimes the saddle seems a bit wide when trying to stand quickly and move about the bike while riding, but not too much. I might try the athletic fit next time around.
