Comments about Seattle Sports E-Merse Submersible Electronics Case:
I got this mainly because I wanted to protect my smartphone while I was out hiking or boating...to keep dirt, dust and water off the phone and yet still be able to take pictures and make calls.
Yeah you look dorky talking on it or holding onto it around your neck, but this is about function not style!
What I also found out, after testing, is that it truly is waterproof as advertised. On a whim I placed some tissue paper inside the case and sent it to the bottom of a 10-foot deep pool in tow by my nephew (delivered by way of a huge canonball off the diving board). When I examined later, there was no leaking at all. There was a slight hint of dampness along the far edge near the zip-lock closure just inside the pouch. However, this deep of an "experiment" was the only time this result happened. Plus, the moisture was so faint that an electronic device would have been fine if not left in there for an extended period of time.
I tried a shallow underwater experiment with my motorola droid and was able to take some photos and video--surprisingly good quality--and record some underwater audio. Perfectly dry and not a hint of moisture.
While I would never use this for underwater adventures (maybe with a real cheap digital camera), it does show this product's ability for occasional intentional underwater use and the more often need for a water-resistant case that retains the functionality of the phone during outdoor activities.
I only wish it would float, plus that the zip closure gave you more confirmation that it was indeed zipped closed all the way across. Also some devices may experience decreased battery life due to the heat that can build up inside the pouch if left in the sun.

Comments about Seattle Sports E-Merse Submersible Electronics Case:
I used this on several occasions snorkling in Cozumel and Quintana Roo. It held my pesos, drivers license and car key. Tucked under my rash guard, this worked great and kept it all dry. Much more secure than leaving the key on the beach hidden in a shoe. I was down at least 15ft. with it and never had a problem. I'll use it this summer for my phone and key on my next tubing trip down the South Platte.

Comments about Seattle Sports E-Merse Submersible Electronics Case:
I had been looking for a waterproof case to hold my iPhone on an upcoming whitewater rafting trip when I saw this product in my local REI store and the thing that really caught my attention was that it could still control my iPhone through the plastic material of the case. I was a little skeptical at first, but a quick self demo right there in the store sold me enough to purchase not one, but two of these cases. I wanted to bring my Flip Mino HD on my rafting trip as well. Still, I was a little worried about how well the product would keep my items dry so I did a wet demo in my bathroom sink and passed that test as well.
Confident, but still a little worried about my phone and camera, I brought them to a 8000 cfs release on the Kennebec River and after being pummeled with wave after wave of Class IV rapids and even fully submerged in Class II rapids for a few minutes...after all was said and done, both items were bone dry inside these pouches.
I'm bringing my camera/phone on a Kayaking trip next week knowing full well I have nothing to worry about when I'm using this product.
The only cons, and they're are barely even issues, is that my phone can shift around more than I'd like in the case, and getting it out just takes a little longer than I'd like. Not really cons, but it's something I thought I should mention.

Nope, dont go near it.
it was sold to me as a great device to use while swimming...
and..
after a destroyed iphone
and a destroyed nano [yea, yea.. fool me once, but i figured i was the dope the first time.. not so, i did it right.. however.. it leaks!]
it is not worth the plastic its made from. [at least for swimming.. ]
i suppose there may be uses for such a product.. i just dont know what they would be]

Comments about Seattle Sports E-Merse Submersible Electronics Case:
This case fits my Motorola Droid phone like a glove, yet I can still turn it on/off, unlock it, access all my apps, use touch strokes and read the screen through the plastic. This is a great way to carry my smartphone while kayaking.

The front and back see-through portions were totally delaminated when it arrived at my doorstep. Doesn't inspire much confidence in the product.

Comments about Seattle Sports E-Merse Submersible Electronics Case:
Just read the specs, description, and the other reviews and you will find out everything you'll need to know about this product. I have a Droid Incredible 2 -- fits it like a GLOVE, even with the case. A good point was made earlier that it doesn't float, but regardless an excellent product!
