Comments about Arc'Teryx Briza 75 Pack - Women's - '09 Closeout:

I bought this pack because of the size and it can hold A LOT OF STUFF! I recently took this pack through Zion National Park in Utah and it upheld every standard I had for it. Granted I didn't have it full to the brim but it held everything perfectly. We went through the Zion Narrows and the water was chest high in some places and waist high in others. My pack went swimming with me and resisted the water like a champ! Everything in my pack was pretty dry. Granted the submerged sleeping bag compartment got a little wet but nothing that ruined my trip. The shoulder straps are super comfy and can handle a lot of weight. The load lifters are a great feature as well as the adjustable back length. I did adjust the back to have the hip belt lower than a standard setting. I am 5'9". I would have benefit from a tall/long but it worked great pulled all the way out. The hip belt is super huge but it was a good thing when your wet so that it doesn't rub or give hot spots.
The only thing I can say about this pack is don't wear a tank top or sports bra only with it. The place of connection for the adjustable chest strap caused a hot spot problem for me making it so I had to cinch the chest strap all the way up. Although when I wore a t-shirt it wasn't a problem at all. The pack has seen quite a few miles without a hitch. I really like the water bottle holders on either side that disconnect as well. This is an awesome feature. I will have to review this product after I do the Wonderland Trail in Washington State next summer...
ENJOY!
