Comments about Hennessy Hammock Hyperlight Asym Zip Hammock:
Wet muddy ground, rocky ground, heavy brush, steep slope, whatever it was, I got tired of not being able to pitch my tent there. If you camp where there are trees, you'll never have any trouble finding a place to hang this hammock. Plus it's light and an heck of a lot more comfortable than the ground. I've hung in pouring rain, but nary a drop has made it under the tarp. I love this hammock.
Service and delivery comments:
These people are great to deal with. Delivery was prompt, delivery of replacement parts has been prompt and customer service is very friendly and forthcoming. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Comments about Hennessy Hammock Hyperlight Asym Zip Hammock:
Good product for certain situations. Lightweight, but limited to 200 lbs.
A tall person would be uncomfortable.
Mainly the webbing that hold it on the tree are way too short!! The ropes are thin and the side ropes are too short.

Comments about Hennessy Hammock Hyperlight Asym Zip Hammock:
As noted before by other reviews, it takes a bit of practice...but not much. Sometimes it's difficult to figure out what level actually is when you're setting up on a steep slope with no level reference except your brain. The HH website is full of tips to ease the transition to hammock hanging.
One of my favorites is: use a small, lightweight, inexpensive, plastic LINE LEVEL from the hardware store and hang it on your ridgeline during setup to confirm that you are level. You can even read it from a reclining position to help you get the hammock angle adjustment exactly right every time.
I sleep perfectly in my HH. If it's cold or windy outside, be sure to add insulation underneath. Either use an underquilt outside the hammock and a pad inside, or a reflective bubble pad like a summer truck windshield cover. Vary your setup depending on the conditions - just like you do in a tent.
Have fun and ENJOY your hammock!
