Comments about TravelChair Larry Chair:
We bought four of these to take camping. They fit perfectly inside our tech garage along with an rei camp table. It was the perfect "dining room" set up for my tents garage. They have a very compact design and are a breeze to set up. Make sure to watch the REI instructional set up video on how to properly set up.
Im 6'3 and found the chair to be very comfortable to sit in. It has a very upright feeling to it. Its not exactly the kinda chair you want to try in slouch into, specially if your as tall as I am. My wife is a whole foot shorter than me and she too loved the comfort. My young children had no trouble at all either.
I would strongly recommend you be very carefull with setting up the chair though. I can see how you could eaisly pinch your hand during the set u if your not careful.
Other then that, I have nothing but good things to say about these compact chairs.

Comments about TravelChair Larry Chair:
This chair caught my eye in the store becasue it was unique, compact, & pretty darn light. I never got the impression it would be good for backpacking, obviously not what its designed for or even marketed as.
But as far as a lightweight, super packable concert chair its sweet. If you don't want to lug around a full-sized folding seat, & you don't mind a lower seat height, this thing is it.
One caution, i'm a smaller guy, but the backrest seemed a little narrow, might be uncomfortable for larger users.

I read the other review and saw the 1 star rating so I was a little hesistant to purchase this but I had read other reviews elsewhere & thought I'd give it a chance. I love mine! It's comfortable and has a different look to it, which I like. It's not a standard chair in a standard bag. Set up is easy but you do have to make sure you line it up right before opening it all the way. But even with that I still really like it.

I've been looking for a chair I can carry on my bike
to local events. full-size folding chairs that are more comfortable are bulky and heavy and - literally - a pain in the back when you try to tote them on a bike. This one strikes a good middle ground. Folds into it's own bag with a shoulder strap and beats squatting on damp grass. Sits kinda low. Seems to built pretty solid.

[...] I like this chair. It's comfortable, it's supportive, it looks cool too. I gave it 4 stars because I would really like to see it in black. I think that would look good.

Comments about TravelChair Larry Chair:
was looking for a super light wieght chair that was also comfortable for backpacking. I am willing to carry the extra wight for comfort and want a sieght with back support. Really easy to set up cool idea but extremly uncomfortable the two back poles dig into my ribs.
