Rated5out of5byGlennOfromGreat Shoe!I just traded in my Ahnu Elkridge because they were too hot for these.
The Morago are perfect. They breathe, are stable, have a good mix of leather and mesh...essentially a perfect all arounder. I've only worn them for a day or two but love them already.

Rated5out of5byekineccofromGreat Comfortable Fit and SupportiveI use this shoe as an everyday shoe at work which involves selling cars on pavement, cement and varied surfaces. The shoe fits well.Very stable. Good fit for a wide foot like mine. My sense is that this would be a great light-weight hiker, though not for the serious. However, it's still a great fit with lots of energy return to the feet on paved, cement and tiled surfaces which says a lot for an outdoor shoe.

Rated5out of5bySunslipfromAh-Some Hiking ShoeI have real problems finding good shoes these days. Because I have nerve damage in the ball of one foot and neuropathy in both, it's especially tough. I also have a wide toe and narrow heel.
I spent about two hours trying on shoes yesterday, including Oboz and Vasque, and settled on the Ahnu. And I couldn't be happier. These are really well-designed and constructed shoes. I think they would even be good for backpacking.
I just took them on a three-mile trail with hills, rocks and mud. My feet felt completely stable, the toe and heel guards are ballistic, the tread was good on almost everything except wet wood, and best of all, the even shock distribution and cushioned arch support finally gave my toe-ball a needed break. Also, my feet didn't get at all wet--and they would have wearing my Sauconys--so I consider them water resistant, too.
And after the hike, guess what? There was no mud caked on the treads. None, like magic. The treads are designed in a way that doesn't pick up mud. Hooray! This is my new go-to brand for sure.

Rated4out of5byMNhikerguyfromA great everyday shoe, not waterproofFor some reason, my right foot needed a little of training in regards to the arch fit. Now that I've had them for about a month, they are great. The only downfall is that they do not keep water out if wearing on a rainy day or have to step in a shallow puddle. The salesman at the store assured me that they were waterproof, so that was a little disappointing. I bought the shoes primarily for warmer weather use, and they are very breathable and luckily even my socks dried quickly while wearing them.

Rated4out of5byrmanhikerfromNew brand, good shoesI've had merrells for a long time, probably 9 years (4 different pairs in 9 years), so I was a little hesitant to buy anything else but it was a good choice so far. Part of the reason that I went with Ahnu was the poor color selection in the merrell shoes at the REI store. These fit right out of the box, and have good cushioning. They appear to be well constructed although I've only had these for about a month. I wear them everyday for work where I am on my feet for at least 8 hrs a day and for day hikes, and the shoes meet all expectations for those activites.
