    I've used this vest on casual river trips, paddling on my local lake, and playing in the local hole. From white water to just floating in the lake this vest has served me well. The key is to make sure you have the right size as there is some adjustment to be made, but not if you've gotten a vest much too big. Overall, this is a great PFD!

      I have used this PFD for two years and used it alot. I have never had any zipper issues and have been in some pretty hairy situations. The only reasoning i can think of for this is that it had a bad zipper or the PFD wasn't the right size. i suggest before you decide to buy any PFD try one on first. make sure it fits YOU right. Everyone is built different and when one design works for them it might not work for someone else. I am happy with the way this PFD has performed for me.

            I loved the way this PDF fit and was excited to wear this out on my paddling trip. Everytime I hit water, the jacket unzipped and came off!!! UNSAFE!!!! the jacket does not have buckles at the waist or anywhere else like other Astral pfds for safety. Ended up returning and buying a new pfd.
