Comments about SureFire Saint Headlamp:

After spending the last 5 years in the Marine Corps infantry, I have gone through a good number of headlamps. This one outshines them all. I have destroyed several headlamps due to my abusive work environment, but the metal body of the Saint has been able to withstand that abuse. It has operated during and after submersion, heavy rain, fine dust, and below freezing. The on/off knob is easy to operate with gloves on or freezing hands. The flexibility to use either AA or 123a lithium batteries has been a major blessing on more than one occasion. If you take the battery back off, you now have yourself a Saint Minimus, reducing weight (and battery life). The head straps are the most comfortable I have ever used and have made it more than bearable to wear this headlamp all night. I have a smaller size head and it can tighten down enough to fit snugly, but still has enough flexibility to fit on my helmet. Although, it costs more than many headlamps, it is well worth it. This is the last headlamp I will ever buy.
