      The bell makes a 'boink' sound, not even a feeble 'ding'. The sound will alert no one, not even standing next to it. Plus there's a tiny nut that falls out the side opening very easily. No nut; no attachment. Bottom line: stay away from this one.

        Great simple design, however, CHECK size of your handlebars. It will not fit "most" handlebars as stated -- only those 21-22.6mm in diameter.
