Comments about Swix Cross Gloves - Men's:
I love these gloves -- now on my 3rd pair. They are my go-to gloves for cross-country skiing. Warm enough for x-c skiing in the Northeast (so long as you are moving). Really comfortable and great grip on the poles. The soft fabric patch on the back of the thumb is good for wiping your face too.
I also used them for almost all cold-weather cycling -- everything except the coldest week or two in the middle of winter (great for 25-45 degree weather).
If you are looking for something truly waterproof or windproof, these are not the right gloves. But they offer plenty of wind resistance to keep your hands toasty if your heartbeat is elevated, and they prevent your hands from getting all sweaty.
I take them everywhere, which means I've lost a few over the years, but I keep replacing them because they're great gloves.
