I love this fleece vest! I wear it under my jacket on colder days, and lately inside the house so I can keep the temperature down. It's the perfect length -24 1/2 inches, nice quality fleece, zippered outside pockets and two generous internal pockets. I have both colors - black and chalk. Chalk is a white, beige color. It's somewhat fitted which makes it flattering, but not too fitted. I'm 36 inch bust, 33 inch waist, and 37 hips and a large was a perfect fit. I think this vest needs to come in a wider range of colors: red, plum, fushia, different hues of blues, etc. My sister and mom want one in the chalk color(it's on backorder right now!). I hope REI keeps this particular vest, and hope they add some fun colors for the spring (I will keep checking.) Get this vest - for the price it's the best!

Took this vest with me on a hiking trip to Scotland. Kept me warm in the highlands in spring & stylish enough to wear to the pubs. The fit (especially the length) perfect. Very flattering. Wish REI would come out with some more earth toned colors....I'd buy every single one.

Took this as an extra layer to Philmont scout ranch in NM in late June. Kept me warm first thing in the morning and after the sun went down in the evening. Great lightweight but warm layer.
At night I turned it inside out and used it as a pillow in my tent.
Internal and external pockets are perfect size. Now that I'm back, am looking forward to just wearing it around town in the fall and winter. Love this vest!
