Comments about Detours Toocan Juicy Weave Pannier - Single:
I bought this pannier not because I needed another bike pannier, but just because I liked it so much. Since then, it's become the pannier I use most often for shopping and trips to town, and sometimes even when I'm not riding. People are always asking me where I got it.
It holds a ton of stuff and has interior pockets so that, for example, you can pack bottles upright and they'll stay in place. It's very convenient to pack (unlike most panniers) because the wide-mouth opening stays open until you fold it down and zip it closed, and the flat rubber bottom means it won't fall over and won't get stained from mud or dirt (a big plus for my local farmer's market). It comes with a rain cover, which I haven't used.
It's definitely a pannier designed for urban use, not touring. For one thing, it's heavy, mainly because of the rubber base. It attaches to the rear rack by two plastic clips at the top of the bag; unlike some other brands of pannier, it has no attachment point near the bottom. This means that if you catch it with your heel while you're pedalling (quite possible, because it's big), you might kick the pannier loose. I also worry a bit about how long these clips will last under heavy loads--but I've had no problems in several months of use.

Comments about Detours Toocan Juicy Weave Pannier - Single:
I purchased this for taking stuff to work and church-laptop and files to work, Bible, etc. to church. The clips hold securely, yet easily detach when my bike goes on the train. The shoulder strap is comfortable, and inside are 4 side compartments and a zippered compartment at the top for the rain shroud. The clips are sturdy and the bottom rubber covering is very solid-a very well made bag that I would recommend for routine day to day carrying of items.

Comments about Detours Toocan Juicy Weave Pannier - Single:
I bought this pannier in the winter of 2010. It's on my bike today still. I use this bag for commuting to work, transporting groceries and even on a few 60+ miles bike trips. The wide opening means easy access and it carries a lot of stuff. I've never had a problem with it falling off due to the clips inside the hooks. The color is an eyecatcher which equals as a safety feature. I hear comments galore from folks on what it is, where I got it from and how cool looking it is. I love this bag.
